- Havaldar: 1075 vacancies have been announced.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): The number of vacancies for MTS posts is yet to be announced
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10th or an equivalent examination from a recognized board
- MTS Posts: 18-25 years.
- Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, and a few MTS posts: 18-27 years.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules for reserved categories (SC/ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen).
- The exam will be conducted online and comprises two sessions: Session I and Session II.
- Session I (No Negative Marking):
- Numerical and Mathematical Ability: 20 Questions (60 Marks)
- Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving: 20 Questions (60 Marks)
- Total: 40 Questions (120 Marks) - Duration: 45 minutes
Session II (Negative Marking: 1 mark for each wrong answer):
General Awareness: 25 Questions (75 Marks)
English Language and Comprehension: 25 Questions (75 Marks)
Total: 50 Questions (150 Marks) - Duration: 45 minutes
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) examination annually. The syllabus for SSC MTS 2025 is broadly divided into four subjects.
SSC MTS 2025 Exam Pattern (Revised)
The exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and is conducted in two sessions. Both sessions are mandatory.

This section evaluates a candidate's understanding of the English language.

Important points to remember:
* There is no negative marking in Session 1.
* There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Session 2.
* The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages for Session I and the General Awareness section of Session II.
* For the Havaldar post, candidates also need to clear a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) in addition to the CBT.
